$75.00 – $120.00
Stainless steel Riving knife with brushed finish in your thickness choice.
The picture is generic. Your table saw will need a splitter or knife
that will fit your saw. We have most every pattern for American
made saws. We just need to know the model.
For certain saws, fixed height splitters is all that can be used.
For saws that came equipped with a riving knife, just choose the thickness you want. The riving knife or splitter needs to be thinner than the kerf thickness of the blade or blades you use. If the OEM part was indeed a splitter (fixed height and doesn’t move up and down with the blade) then we may have other options, such as a manually adjustable riving knife or as we call it, an ARK.
Any splitter or knife can include custom engraving. This is popular with jobsite saws that can walk off of a job or for folks that have inherited a saw and want their dad’s nickname engraved on the splitter or knife. Timberbeast, you are remembered, Sir.
All riving knives and splitters come with the thickness engraved on them. Select the option in the dropdown menu below and please and shoot us an separate email to info@thesharkguard.com with the saw model and we’ll know exactly what you need.
Feel free to call or text us if you are still unsure at (251)533-9596.
If you have a Delta Unisaw or any other saw listed under the Delta ARK package, Craftsman, and JWTS package page, you will also need a mounting bracket to attach the ARK knife to your saw. Make sure to add the appropriate bracket to your cart. Our type of manually adjustable riving knives for Delta Unisaws and JWTS, will not function correctly with the OEM throat plate or insert. There is a tab or bridge between the OEM splitter slot and the blade slot that has to be removed for the ARK knife to work as it is intended to. If you need a replacement insert, or throat plate as it is called, you can add one to your cart from the products section as well. We now have red phenolic throat plates. For any saw that had a riving knife originally, you shouldn’t need any mounting bracket or throat plate. If the bracket that attaches the riving knife to the saw is not there on your saw, which is rare that they are ever removed, you will need to acquire one on your own. We are here to help and can locate one if it is available. We know where to look.
Pictured is our riving knife alongside an old SharkGuard featuring a 4″ dust port. This particular knife is for the newer Unisaws. 36-LXXX and the like.
